Chukka Caribbean Adventures Montpelier Jungle-St. James
Montpelier Jungle Outpost sits on a large estate rich in history. In the 18th century, this location was used as a sugarcane plantation by the British. Today, the property is home to orange orchards, small picturesque bridges and an old sugar factory built in the early 1700s. A short hike on the estate will reveal the wonderful Montpelier waterfall and the beautiful Great River, Jamaica’s fourth longest river. From this estate, you can get a bird’s eye view from the treetops as you zipline through the jungle or river tube or kayak down the river that separates the two parishes of St. James and Hanover. However you choose to experience Montpelier – it’s going to be great fun!
